Purpose:  To serve as the primary membership advisory group to assist staff with REALTOR® & Consumer Advocacy based efforts such as lobbying for the protection of property rights, helping to form formal FCBR positions on issues of importance, and assist with positive interactions with local dignitaries that meet members’ needs for a favorable professional climate and REALTOR® centric consumer. Advice the Board of Directors on Advocacy & Lobbying related items and work to implement REALTOR® & Consumer Advocacy related items as assigned by the Board of Directors, Department Director, and/ or CEO.

Meeting Time & Location: Meets monthly at the FCBR Offices from noon-1:30p on the Second Tuesday of the Month

Government Affairs meetings are held monthly from 12:00-1:30p on the second Tuesday of the month in FCBR’s Education center. Meeting feature various updates and conversations about local legislative matters impacting real estate locally and is FREE and open to all FCBR members!
