FCBR Committee Information  

The Fort Collins Board President in coordination with the Leadership committee and Executive Vice President identify members who wish to serve on committees annually. Participating in committee activities is one of the best ways to hone your leadership skills, to learn all about what the Board has to offer, and to connect with and learn from fellow real estate professionals. FCBR is always accepting applications to participate on committees and advisory groups. Communication Committee is responsible for publication of FCBR’s Board Talk Newspaper, provide feedback for online and email communications to FCBR Members, for monitoring effectiveness of FCBR’s web site, and enhancing FCBR’s use of other technologies. 
 
Community Outreach Committee is responsible for developing programs and mechanisms by which to outreach to the greater Fort Collins Community. The committee works to promote and develop member volunteer opportunities in the community with other philanthropic organizations.   
 
Education Committee is responsible for setting out a continuing education agenda for the year, including  working with staff to schedule and promoting both general required and specialized educational opportunities for FCBR members. 
 
Events Committee   is comprised of several subcommittees that belong to the FCBR tradition: Membership Meetings, Awards Luncheon, Holiday Party, Bowl-a-thon, Government Affairs Luncheon, Installation Ceremonies and Luncheon. In addition, the Events Committee assists in putting on fundraisers.  Meets at least Monthly
 
Government Affairs Committee  works with staff to help the leadership to set the public policy agenda of REALTORS® in the Fort Collins area. The committee is comprised of Realtor® and Affiliate members. The FCBR President appoints the Chair. The Chair and President appoint committee members and work to ensure diverse and inclusive representation from around the Fort Collins area. Meets bi-monthly
 
PSF (Political Survival Fund) Committee is charged with raising funds for the REALTORS® Political Action Committee. The committee, in coordination with the Events Committee and FCBR staff, plans fundraising events as well as marketing campaigns. Several meetings during the Spring to Coordinate event
 
Rookie Club Committee hosts monthly events & gatherings to assist new agents in acclimating to the industry, building their small business skills and learning more about the regional market.  Meets once a month
