High Park Fire Assistance Morphs But Ongoing
FCBR’s Community Outreach Committee has put together a mission to continue to raise money for the families and their animals that have been affected by the ‘High Park’ Fire while also finding ways to further assist with the efforts to provide housing for those displaced.
To all of our members:
The REALTOR community was able to generate over $20,500 in direct contributions and and additoinal amounts sent directly to Red Cross and the Larimer Humane Society during our week long efforts. We encourage members wanting to give to make those donations directly to the various entities assisting with fire efforts.
FCBR will be working with the Colorado Association of REALTORS and National Association of REALTORS in the weeks ahead to bring in additional dollars to assist those who have been displaced with housing needs. Anyone interested in learning more about these efforts are encouraged to attend our CARHOF meeting scheduled for Wednesday June 27th starting at 12:15 in the Board offices.
Additionally, we have started to receive requests from various agencies about short term housing availablility. Click here for a list of resources and contacts for housing related items. If you have any information on potential availabilities please contact Clint at clint@fcbr.org or 402-0852 so that we can start to compile this information.
